Fuzzies cares deeply about your privacy. Therefore, we only process data necessary for (improving) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services carefully. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided through it by Fuzzies. The effective date of these terms is 29/07/2025; publishing a new version invalidates all previous versions. This privacy policy describes which data about you we collect, what this data is used for, and with whom and under what conditions this data may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect your data against misuse, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you provide to us.

Online Store Software

MijnWebwinkel

Our online store is developed with software from Shopify. Personal data you provide to us for our services is shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support; they will never use your data for another purpose. Shopify is required by the agreement we have with them to take appropriate security measures. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software; no personal data is collected and/or stored.

Web Hosting

Shopify

We use web hosting and email services from Shopify. Shopify processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. Shopify has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Shopify is obligated to confidentiality under the agreement.

Email and mailing lists 

Klaviyo

Our website uses Klaviyo, a third party that handles the email traffic originating from our website and the sending of any newsletters. All confirmation emails you receive from our website and web forms are sent via Klaviyo's servers. Klaviyo will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email automatically sent via our website, you will see the ‘unsubscribe’ link. If you click on this, you will no longer receive emails from our website. This may seriously reduce the functionality of our website! Your personal data is securely stored by Klaviyo. Klaviyo uses cookies and other internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. Klaviyo reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and, in that context, to share information with third parties.

Office365

We use the services of Office365 for our regular business email communication. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Office365 does not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all our email communication confidentially.

Payment processors

Shopify Payments

For processing (part of) the payments in our web store, we use the platform of Shopify Payments. Shopify Payments processes your name, address, and place of residence details, as well as your payment information such as your bank account or credit card number. Shopify Payments has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Shopify Payments reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and, in that context, to share (anonymized) data with third parties. In the case of a request for deferred payment (credit facility), Shopify Payments shares personal data and information regarding your financial position with credit assessors. All the above-mentioned safeguards regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Shopify Payments' service for which they engage third parties. Shopify Payments does not retain your data longer than permitted by legal terms.

Reviews

WebwinkelKeur

We collect reviews through the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide a name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this data with us so that we can link the review to your order. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to provide clarification on your review. If we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They use this data solely for the purpose of inviting you to leave a review. WebwinkelKeur has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. WebwinkelKeur reserves the right to engage third parties to provide the service, for which we have given WebwinkelKeur permission. All the above-mentioned safeguards regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of the service for which WebwinkelKeur engages third parties.

Shipping and logistics

PostNL

When you place an order with us, it is our responsibility to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to carry out the deliveries. For this, it is necessary that we share your name, address, and city details with PostNL. PostNL uses this data only for the purpose of executing the agreement. In case PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL also provides your data to these parties.

DHL

When you place an order with us, it is our responsibility to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of DHL to carry out the deliveries. For this, it is necessary that we share your name, address, and city details with DHL. DHL uses this data only for the purpose of executing the agreement. In case DHL engages subcontractors, DHL also provides your data to these parties.

Invoicing and accounting

Odoo For managing our administration and accounting, we use the services of Odoo. We share your name, address, city details, and order information. This data is used to manage sales invoices. Your personal data is transmitted and stored securely. Odoo is obligated to confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. Odoo does not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.

Purpose of data processing

General purpose of processing

We use your data solely for the purpose of our services. This means the purpose of processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you later - other than at your request - we will explicitly ask for your permission. Your data is not shared with third parties, except to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound by confidentiality under the agreement between them and us or by an oath or legal obligation.

Automatically collected data

Data automatically collected by our website is processed with the aim of further improving our services. This data (for example, your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data.

Cooperation with tax and criminal investigations

In certain cases, Fuzzies may be legally required to share your data in connection with tax or criminal investigations by government authorities. In such cases, we are forced to share your data, but we will oppose this within the limits allowed by law.

Retention periods

We retain your data as long as you are a client of ours. This means we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you inform us of this, we will also treat it as a request to be forgotten. This also means that we do not keep your data for longer than two years from the last contact or transaction, unless there is a legal justification for doing so. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we must keep invoices with your (personal) data, so we will retain this data for as long as the applicable period lasts. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents we have created in response to your assignment.

Your rights

Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, you as a data subject have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. Below we explain what these rights are and how you can exercise them. In principle, to prevent misuse, we only send copies of your data to the email address we already have on file for you. If you wish to receive the data at a different email address or, for example, by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep a record of processed requests; in the case of a right to be forgotten request, we record anonymized data. All copies of data you receive will be in the machine-readable data format used within our systems. You always have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority if you suspect that we are using your personal data improperly.

You always have the right to access the data we (or our processors) process that relates to you or can be traced back to you. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all data to the email address we have on file, along with an overview of the processors who hold this data, specifying the category under which we have stored this data.

You always have the right to have the data we (or our processors) process that relates to you or can be traced back to you corrected. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the email address we have on file that the data has been corrected.

Right to restriction of processing

You always have the right to restrict the data we (or our processors) process that relates to you or can be traced back to you. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the email address we have on file that the data subject to the restriction will no longer be processed.

Right to data portability

You always have the right to have the data we process about you or that can be traced back to you processed by another party. You can submit such a request to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies or extracts of all data about you that we have processed or that has been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties to the email address we have on file. In all likelihood, we will no longer be able to continue providing the service in such a case, as the secure linking of data files can no longer be guaranteed.

Right to object and other rights

In certain cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Fuzzies. If you object, we will immediately stop processing the data pending the resolution of your objection. If your objection is justified, we will provide you with copies and/or extracts of the data we process (or have processed) and then permanently stop the processing. You also have the right not to be subjected to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in a way that this right applies. Google Analytics

Cookies from the American company Google are placed via our website as part of the "Analytics" service. We use this service to monitor and obtain reports on how visitors use the website. This processor may be required by applicable laws and regulations to provide access to this data. We collect information about your browsing behavior and share this data with Google. Google may interpret this information in conjunction with other datasets and thus track your movements on the internet. Google uses this information to offer targeted advertisements (AdWords) and other Google services and products.
